A legal fight is preliminarily over between Federal Express Corp., the world’s largest express transportation company, and two of its employees over short-term military leave. A federal court filing in Georgia shows FedEx has agreed to pay $900,000 to settle a class-action lawsuit that claimed the company failed to pay workers for military leave despite paying for other short-term leave benefits, including for jury duty and bereavement time.
