Persona 5 is officially collaborating with Call of Duty: Mobile for the FPS’s upcoming Season 6, featuring Operator skins inspired by the Phantom Thieves and other limited in-game content. Though Persona 5 has seen its fair share of crossovers with other video games, this is the first time that the JRPG will be teaming up with the Call of Duty franchise.
Since its release in 2016, Persona 5 has become one of the series’ most popular titles, and many fans consider it one of the best RPGs of all time. Its enhanced 2019 version, Persona 5 Royal, also earned high praise and is known for continuously collaborating with unexpected franchises, such as Overwatch and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Now, Call of Duty: Mobile has released a trailer for its first team-up with Persona 5 Royal to launch unique cosmetics and events.
Persona 5 Royal Is Coming to Call of Duty: Mobile Season 6 in July 2026
Call of Duty: Mobile has confirmed that its upcoming Season 6, dubbed “Take your Heart,” will center around a collaboration with Persona 5 Royal. As part of the crossover, four new Phantom Thieves-inspired Operator skins will be available, including Cipher – Joker, Scylla – Panther, Alias – Queen, and Urban Tracker – Violet. Each skin includes unique features such as special lobby entrances and mask accessories. A “baton pass animation” for multiplayer matches will also be available for players who own at least two Persona 5 Royal skins.
Additionally, COD: Mobile‘s Plunder mode will have a Persona 5 twist named “Plunder Treasure Hunt” for a limited time. Players can enter certain areas that will change their HUD into P5R visuals and fight Shadow enemies. After defeating three waves, fans can obtain a chest with cash and Persona 5 masks that offer bonuses throughout the remainder of the match. The new Persona 5 Royal-themed season is set to launch on July 1 at 5:00 PM PT, once COD: Mobile‘s ongoing crossover with The Boys wraps up.
Moreover, a themed event will feature shooting galleries based on Persona 5 Royal’s Palaces, with exclusive rewards such as a Morgana backpack, a motorcycle skin inspired by Ryuji Sakamoto, and a Nuclear Strike customization that has Morgana cheering for players. Weapon cosmetics will be added to the store as well, with Persona-themed blueprints for LK24 – Arsène, QQ9 – Carmen, Type 63 – Johanna, and RAM-7 – Cendrillon. Each weapon comes with special elimination effects. It is worth noting that collecting the new P5R skins will grant players rewards like a Legendary ORV – Morgana Vehicle Skin.
