WATCHTOWER Defense is expanding its U.S-made firearm lineup with the launch of the APACHE COMMANDER, a compact double-stack 1911 built for everyday carry and hard-use performance.
Veteran-founded and known for precision craftsmanship, WATCHTOWER says this is its first true tactical pistol. And it’s designed to run in the toughest conditions.
Chambered in 9x19mm, the APACHE COMMANDER was built with concealment, fast draw, and durability in mind.
It sports a compact profile, aggressive slide serrations, and an optics-ready plate cut right out of the gate. Everything is tuned to a duty-spec feel. It’s made for shooters who want a defensive pistol that won’t choke when conditions get rough.
The pistol is fully machined from stainless steel (frame, slide, and barrel) and comes loaded with practical upgrades: tactical-profile grips, a flared double-stack magwell, ambidextrous safety controls, and a user-adjustable trigger tuned between 4.5 and 5.5 lbs.
The 4.1-inch barrel features a 1:16 twist. The pistol weighs 35.8 ounces unloaded with magazine inserted.
Buyers can choose between Black or Flat Dark Earth finishes. Both are coated with top-tier corrosion-resistant technologies for smooth operation and easy maintenance.
Each pistol ships with three 17-round mags, a WATCHTOWER Range Pistol Case, a pistol lock, and a lifetime warranty covering manufacturing defects.
MSRP comes in at $3,999, putting it firmly in the premium-duty 1911 space.
