When it comes to special editions, few car brands are quite as prolific as the American Stellantis brands. Jeep is surely the leader. Just this year it has been putting out new editions every month. The other brands aren’t being left out, though. Chrysler just revealed its own special Pacifica themed around the United States of America’s 250th anniversary. It certainly fits the theme, but we don’t think we’d call it quite as inspired as the country it’s named after.

You Can Have It In Any Color You Want, As Long As It’s Red, White, Or Blue

We’re not kidding about the paint colors for the Pacifica America250 special edition. The sole choices for this special edition package are Red Hot, Bright White, and Hydro Blue. Those exterior colors are one of the few visual cues that signal the patriotic nature of this van. The others include black-painted trim and 20-inch wheels, some badges, and, most prominently, a set of vinyl graphics.

The ones at the front are a pair of decals that create an interesting fading pattern from the lights and vents toward the middle of the bumper. They aren’t just simple dots or squares, though. The pattern consists of dozens of stars, shifting what would be a relatively subtle decoration into a surprisingly brash one. They’re matched with American flag decals on either side of the van, along with yet more stars. Chrysler seems to recognize that some buyers may find these graphics to be a little much, so you can actually opt to delete them, which will also get you a $495 credit on your purchase.

The interior feels a little more mature and considered than the exterior. The seats are finished in black perforated leather. A blue layer is visible through the perforations, and the seats are stitched together with contrasting red thread that matches the seat belts. The front seat backs also feature embossed American flags. The steering wheel gets red, silver, and blue stitching, the instrument display has a custom America250 start-up screen, and the key fobs are branded, too.
