On October 31, 2025, a Massachusetts joint committee met to ramrod 40+ bills through the process. Representative David Paul Linsky couldn’t handle the heat and had some boo boo feels.
With just over a week’s notice, advocates and activists prepped for another round of garbage from the Massachusetts state legislature. It was announced that over 40 bills were to be heard by the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security. After a contingent of Gun Owners’ Action League employees delivered their testimonies, Representative David Paul Linsky got all pouty and asked the chair to ensure he wouldn’t be subjected to “gestures” or having words mouthed at him.
Following the brilliant testimonies from GOAL’s Director of Education and Training Jon Green, Director of Public Policy Mike Harris, and Executive Director Jim Wallace, Rep. Linsky discussed his emotional damage.
“I’d ask the chair to instruct anyone testifying to keep personal comments out of their testimony or gestures or mouthing words at me,” Linsky whined.
The representative’s request was met with boos from the gallery. The chair assured him with fluffy words: “Understood. Look, this is a this is a issue where people on both sides are extremely passionate, and I would respectfully request for people from both sides to not be personal in their testimony.”
Apparently not only does Representative Linsky have an issue with the Second Amendment, but he does not like it when his constituents air their grievances to him via the exercise of the First Amendment.
“You drop this on good, hard working, lawful citizens, and you had zero interaction with Firearms Records Bureau folks from Massachusetts State Police Department of Public Health,” Jon Green said during his testimony. “Representative Linsky, I am looking at you. You had it all wrong.”
It’s not immediately known if cry baby Linsky got to officially file his hurt feelings report, but let’s not allow the irony of the situation escape the public at large. “Representative Linsky, I am looking at you” was enough to trigger the snowflake into telling on the big bad peasants for upsetting him while he sits up in his ivory tower.
Green did not pull any punches during his testimony — it wasn’t all hurtful comments directed at Beacon Hill’s delicate flower in residence.
“I’d like to start off with a simple request, please stop referring to it as ‘gun violence,’” Green opened with. “There is no such thing as gun violence. If there were, there would also have to be car and truck violence, knife violence, medicine violence. Let’s admit to the fact violence perpetrated with a gun — that is what it is called, is making smart people sound ignorant when you use such terminology.”
GOAL’s Mike Harris took the opportunity to open his testimony by pointing out the committee finds interesting times to schedule these hearings.
“Happy Halloween — I guess. Last session this hearing happened a couple days after Thanksgiving,” Harris observed. “So I guess it’s just a tradition that these kinds of (hearings) fall on a holiday.”
Besides the suspect timing of all these hearings, what needs to be discussed is the mysterious technical issues people had when trying to sign up to testify. As previously reported, the day that the sign up was set to close, hours before the deadline, the system stopped allowing registrations. To the committee’s credit, they did allow participants to sign up the day of due to the alleged technical issue.
After Linsky’s tough day, Harris summed up the representative’s modus operandi.
“Representative Linsky is a staple of the anti-Second Amendment, anti-civil rights segment of the Massachusetts legislature,” said Mike Harris, Director of Public Policy for GOAL. “If there’s an anti-gun bill floating around anywhere in the state house he’s there doing whatever back flips are necessary to defend it no matter how absurd it is.”
It’s amusing when some anti-liberty snowflake apparatchik starts craning their neck in public looking for their wet nurse to get some num nums to comfort them. Representative Linsky, so sorry you had to suffer through that while you continue to champion for laws that limit people’s rights. It must have been really traumatic to deal with the unwashed masses looking at you and mouthing words at you for about four hours total this year.
