Kyle Culotta is an Air Force veteran who found himself in some pretty rough circumstances. He and his girlfriend were living in their car, where he also kept some legally acquired firearms. When he was pulled over for an alleged traffic infraction, he didn’t have insurance and the car was going to be towed. That’s when law enforcement found the guns and arrested Culotta.

The Gun Owners Action League got involved after it was clear Culotta wasn’t going to be allowed to be bonded out. They provided an attorney, which Cam wrote about nearly a month ago.

Now, he’s finally been granted bail, but let’s be real, this is a man who was living in his car. Does anyone think he’s got a fat bank account to pay the bail with?

Not at all.

Which is where GiveSendGo comes in.

Emergency Bail Request! W have a possibility to get Kyle released at his next hearing! Please contribute what you can. God bless you!

My fiancé, my best friend and the love of my life, Kyle Wayne Culotta, has been detained in Massachusetts since June 24, 2025. He’s a proud Air Force veteran who has maintained his CDL by having absolutely no criminal record of any kind. He has absolutely NO CRIMINAL PAST, and yet he was jailed within 30 hours of crossing the state border simply for driving through Massachusetts with firearms that were 100% legal in Arizona, where he is still a resident.

That’s all there is. He was committing no crime, he has no warrants, no priors, never served a day in jail up until now, it was a simple traffic stop regarding paperwork. No more.

After they arrested him without incident, meaning peacefully, the Gardner Police left me stranded on the side of the road with no car, no money, no man and no means to protect myself, all while they obliterated any chance of a normal existence Kyle and I had hoped for when we arrived in the Commonwealth.

The goal is to raise $30,000 to cover bail, and while the fundraiser is nearly there, any additional funds would likely help Culotta and his girlfriend get their feet back under them.

This was wrong from the start.

Everything about this is egregious as hell, so I understand why GOALS jumped in when they did. Someone had to help, and it’s not like the groups that work so hard to put dangerous felons back out on the streets were going to be interested in a gun owner being wrongly jailed.

Culotta was held for this long because they claimed he was dangerous. Why? Because he owned guns. That’s an infringement all on its own. Possession of a legal and constitutionally protected item should never be taken as the primary evidence for taking away someone’s freedom. Culotta should have been cited for no insurance, maybe have the car towed to wherever, and that should have been it.

At most, confiscate the so-called high-capacity magazines that were legal in Arizona, but not in Massachusetts.

Instead, he’s spent nearly three months locked up for items that were perfectly legal where he bought them, and he’d been in the state for less than two days.

But that’s Massachusetts for you.

Editor’s Note: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
