The White Rim Trail is a bucket-list bike ride in Canyonlands National Park. The 100-mile route follows a dirt road through the desert, riding along the geologic formation known as the White Rim, which encircles the Island in the Sky district. The previous fastest known time for the entire trail, which typically takes 2 to 3 days, was 6 hours and 51 minutes.

Hannah Otto knew she could beat that.

The SCOTT athlete is a rising star in the cycling community. She recently won the Leadville 100 and set a record time for the course. It seems she’s on a record-breaking streak.

This documentary, Chasing the Triple Crown, follows her as she attempts to set a new FKT on the White Rim as part of her goal to crush the Moab Triple Crown. This ride is the final installment of that goal, and Otto finishes the Triple Crown with a bang.

Watch as she furiously pedals across the desert, strategically picking lines, overcoming obstacles, and managing her hydration and nutrition in an extremely demanding environment.
