The next generation of the legendary BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tire family has arrived. Let me introduce you to the BFG All-Terrain T/A KO3.

“BFGoodrich Tires’ legendary toughness has been made tougher with the creation of the All-Terrain KO3 tire,” said Harold Phillips, BFGoodrich Global General Manager.

“We’ve done a lot of racing and research in the 10 years since we launched the KO2 tire, so a decade of data, feedback, technology and experience went into the development of the KO3 tire. We are our own competition, and we knew it was time to take the all-terrain tire to another level. It will be exciting to see what consumers will do — at work and at play — with the KO3 tire.”

BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 Tire

BFGoodrich says the new All-Terrain T/A KO3 tire will have the same sidewall toughness and loose dirt traction we know and love in the KO2 tire. Upgrades to the KO3 will include “improved wear performance, improved gravel road durability, and improved snow traction.”

These improvements are created by a new tread pattern and tread compound. The upgrades should provide even wear over the tire’s life and help prevent objects from snagging and splitting the sidewall.

A serrated shoulder design and Mud-Phobic Bars are said to improve upon the KO2’s mud and snow traction. They also helped the KO3 earn the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake severe-snow rating, which should help make it an all-season performer.

The new BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tire has a 60-day satisfaction guarantee, a 50,000-mile treadwear limited warranty, and a 6-year standard limited warranty on defects.

The KO3 is the latest member of the iconic Terrain Family of BFGoodrich tires.

KO3 Availability

Starting this month, BFG will introduce over 100 sizes of the new KO3 over the next 2 years. Thirteen sizes will hit the North American market this month. Then, 17 more in August and five more in October. In 2025, another 52 sizes will be released, with the remaining 19 sizes hitting the market in the first half of 2026.

You can search for the perfect size KO3 for your adventure rig on BFG’s website, and find your local dealer.

BFG KO3 Review Coming

I should have a set of these on my personal Lexus GX 460 overland build next month. And, I’ll be attending BFGoodrich’s media launch event late this year. So, stay tuned later this year for some first impressions and a full long-term review.
