After 83 years, John Pagliuso is finally getting the funeral he deserves. Pagliuso, killed in action serving in the Army during World War II, will receive a burial with full military honors on Nov. 7 in his hometown of Lyons, New York. Pagliuso, presumed missing in action for several decades, was finally identified through DNA technology earlier this year. Norma Davis, Pagliuso’s niece and the oldest living next of kin, was shocked when the Army phoned her back in March to share the terrific news – remains discovered in the Philippines belonged to her Uncle Johnny. “It was unexpected, obviously,” Davis told…

A routine highway project, a family that rejected the state, and a day of gunfire that left two officers dead. Here is how the Bixby shootout in Abbeville unfolded and why it still matters. How America Got Here: Rules, Permits, Control I consider myself a fairly traditional American rugged individualist. I don’t expect a great deal from my government beyond some decent road maintenance and a bunch of dead terrorists. Beyond that, I just want to be left alone. Stuff like intrusive building codes, draconian speed limits, and gun control of any sort just makes me itch. American Society: A…

Another Legend Lost, A Sixgun Worthy of His Name Legend is a word that we do not hear or use very much anymore. It seems we tend to accept mediocrity as the new standard. They leave a lasting impact on their world and those around them. As Dan Brown wrote in Inferno, “So long as…
From true budget builds to premium duty guns, this guide ranks AR 15 picks by price and purpose so you can buy once and shoot with confidence. Why The AR 15 Wins: Choice At Every Price AR stands for Armalite, but it might as well stand for America’s Rifle. Stoner’s design has become a favored rifle among civilian shooters for various reasons. It’s lightweight, it’s modular, it’s easy to shoot, and anyone can learn to shoot one fairly quickly. That makes it a good rifle, but what makes the AR-15 so popular with American gun owners? I think it’s because…
When most people think of prepping, they picture stockpiling canned goods, loading up on survival gear, or building bug out bags. But one often overlooked yet critical prepper skill is the ability to cook a filling and nutritious meal using cheap ingredients. One of the main things we prepare for as preppers is a major economic downturn. Economies collapse all the time, and it’s only a matter of time before the world enters another Great Depression. When that happens, food could be extremely expensive or hard to come by, and people will have to make do with whatever they can get.If…
This article was originally published by Tyler Durden at ZeroHedge. America is back in the Americas. President Trump’s Monroe Doctrine 2.0 plan, focused on hemispheric defense, centers on securing the homeland and the wider Western Hemisphere. The first visible military reposturing came with Trump’s announcement of the Golden Dome continental missile defense shield, followed by renewed pressure on Venezuelan narco-terror networks and new attention on far-left political influence operations being exported from South America. Trump has also worked to wind down foreign conflicts, recently stating that he deserves credit for ending six or seven wars in his first months in office. He…
New Jersey is one of the most fundamentally anti-gun states in the nation. Gov. Phil Murphy wasn’t just a non-supporter of the Second Amendment; he was vehemently and aggressively opposed to actually following it. He did everything he could to make it harder and harder to be a lawful gun owner in the Garden State and if he’d had half a chance, he probably would have banned them entirely. But he’s on his way out, which means it’s time for someone new in the governor’s mansion, and as our own John Petrolino writes at America’s…
Beginning in November 2025, the FBI will require special agent candidates to perform pull-ups as part of their graded physical fitness exam. Throughout the military, pull-ups are a tested exercise in many branches of service. Marines are tested in pull-ups as well as the special ops members of the Navy, Army and Air Force. Now, federal law enforcement agencies, such as the FBI, have added pull-ups to the special agent candidate fitness test. Along with many military branches, the FBI has also removed situps from its fitness test. Here is a workout I recommend for those trying to do their first…
