OSG’s Lynn Burkhead spends some time at the Beretta booth during the 2019 NRA Annual Meetings to talk about the new Beretta 92X Performance.

The 92X Performance is a heavy, all steel model designed almost entirely for competition shooting, but even non-competition shooters will find it enjoyable as well. It is described as a gun designed by shooters, for shooters. The 92X has a Brigadier slide, which is wider and heavier than the M9 slide, featuring a fiberoptic dovetail front sight and forward cocking serrations. The rear sight has fully adjustable windage and elevation adjustments to perfectly zero your gun for maximum accuracy potential.

Inside the frame there are two adjustment screws to regulate the pre-travel and over travel of the trigger and adjust it to suit your needs. In addition to the trigger being adjustable, it is one of the shortest reset triggers on any TDA gun on the market, significantly improving your split times.

The 92X sports a Vertec frame with checkered front and backstraps, both improving function and style. The proprietary nickel of the Nistan finish allows the user to easily wipe away any carbon residue and requires less need for lubrication than other finishes. The safety system features an ambidextrous manual safety lever on both sides.

The Beretta 92X has an MSRP of $1399 and is set to be on the US market in July.
