At the 2019 NRA Annual Meeting in Indianapolis, Federal Ammunition’s Jared Hinton told OSG’s Lynn Burkhead about the exciting new small batch ammunition offerings coming this summer from the Federal Custom Shop. With an initial offering of around 10 specialty loads – and expansion to more loads coming soon – Federal is targeting the needs of competition shooters, big game hunters and wingshooters with new load options they haven’t offered before. Among other offerings, that will include specialized loads with various types of bullets and non-toxic shotshell components for hunters going on the hunt of a lifetime.
