SHOT Show 2025 wasn’t just about firearms—some seriously impressive blades made their debut as well.
Whether you’re into hunting, camping, tactical folders, or rugged fixed blades, this year’s knife lineup had something for everyone.
From the precision craftsmanship of Spyderco to the heavy-duty toughness of Boker, these four knives stood out.
Let’s take a closer look at the sharpest new releases that caught our attention on the showroom floor.
Benchmade Mini Bedlam
Benchmade’s new Mini Bedlam is a tactical folding knife designed for field use and everyday carry. Featuring a 3.45-inch CPM-S90V steel blade with a black Cerakote finish, this smaller version of the Bedlam offers exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance.
The scimitar-style blade is ideal for a wide range of cutting tasks, while the ergonomic G-10 handle provides a secure grip. The Mini Bedlam also includes Benchmade’s renowned AXIS Lock mechanism, ensuring reliable and safe operation.
Available in various handle colors, including black, coyote, and OD green, this knife combines functionality with a sleek design.
Boker Plus Thicker Clipper
The Boker Thicker Clipper is a robust fixed knife designed for heavy-duty tasks. Featuring a 3.5-inch D2 tool steel blade, this .22″-thick knife has excellent edge retention and durability.
The blade’s thick profile ensures it can handle tough cutting jobs, like separating joints. The ergonomic handle, made from textured G-10, provides a secure and comfortable grip. The Thicker Clipper also includes a Kydex sheath with a moveable belt clip.
Available in various handle colors, including black and green, this knife combines strength and versatility, and it looks pretty cool. It’ll make an excellent camp knife.
Case Sculpted Ridgeback
Case discontinued products of a few knives during the pandemic, but the Ridgeback has returned with a new sculpted handle design. These knives feature a 420HC TrueSharp surgical steel Swept Skinner blade that is sabre/concave ground.
The Swept Skinner blade design provides a long, curved edge that excels in slicing and skinning tasks, while the concave grind enhances cutting efficiency and edge retention.
It has jumping just about the handle, but also farther down the blade, which would be handy when you’re working in a cavity and can’t see the blade.
The new handle options for 2025 include black burlap, natural canvas, and G-10 laminates, each with aggressively scalloped scales providing a comfortable and secure grip.
With a blade length of 4 1/8 inches and an overall length of 8 1/2 inches, these knives are both practical and versatile. Each Ridgeback comes with a leather sheath.
Spyderco Slym
The Spyderco Slym is a sleek folding knife designed for everyday carry. It features a 3.42-inch drop-point blade made from Böhler-Uddeholm’s M390 particle metallurgy stainless steel, known for its excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance.
The blade includes Spyderco’s Trademark Round Hole for easy one-handed opening and a removable flipper tab, but is uncharacteristically slim for a Spyderco. The handle is precision-machined from a single piece of titanium and it’s cool.
It includes a black-and-white Dark Matter Polar Fat Carbon Fiber inlay for added style. With its smooth ball-bearing action and sturdy Reeve Integral Lock mechanism, the Slym is both functional and reliable.
Conclusion
SHOT Show 2025 delivered some incredible new blades, proving once again that the knife industry is pushing the boundaries of design and performance.
Whether you’re heading out on a hunting trip, setting up camp in the backcountry, or just looking for a reliable everyday carry, this lineup offers something for every outdoorsman.
With premium materials, innovative designs, and a focus on functionality and durability, these knives are ready for anything.
