The National Rifle Association (NRA) has announced the launch of a brand-new official NRA App to enhance member engagement and provide convenient access to essential association resources on the go.

The NRA’s new leadership is dedicated to modernizing its operations, delivering premium benefits to its members, and providing real-time updates on the Second Amendment. To achieve this goal, NRA staff developed a state-of-the-art app that brings everything members need to one easy-to-use location.

“This launch represents months of dedicated effort, creativity, and outstanding teamwork to bring a bold vision to reality,” Doug Hamlin, NRA Executive Vice President and CEO, said. “The NRA App is more than a technical advancement—it’s a clear demonstration of our commitment to innovation, courage, and relentless progress in defending the Second Amendment and serving our members.”

Key features of the app include a digital NRA ID card, which members can add directly to their Apple Wallet or compatible digital wallet for quick and easy access, up-to-date news from NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA), and access to NRA’s digital magazines and official journals, including both American Hunter and American Rifleman.

Other features include a compilation of local events, including nearby training courses, competitions, meetings and other events using geolocation or by entering a zip code, member benefits, including the ability to explore and activate exclusive discounts, offers and perks available exclusively to NRA members, and fresh daily content, including news, gun and gear reviews, and stories on all aspects of the shooting sports fed daily into the NRA App from every facet of the association.

According to the NRA, the app is now available for free download on the App Store for iOS devices and on Google Play for those utilizing Android devices. The association is encouraging members to download the app soon and begin exploring all it has to offer.

Hamlin noted that while the app launch is a major step forward, the association considers it the beginning of an exciting new era. Future updates will continue to expand features and deliver even greater value to members.

“This is only the beginning,” Hamlin concluded. “The NRA is committed to enhancing our operations to meet the demands of our members in the digital age. In the coming weeks and months, the NRA will continue to roll out new initiatives that provide critical information to our members in real time and in formats that best suit them.”
