Smith & Wesson has added some serious firepower to its folding pistol carbine lineup. The company just released the M&P FPC chambered in 10mm Auto, giving shooters a hard-hitting, compact option built for performance and portability.
The optics-ready FPC sticks to a blowback design and comes with three 15-round M&P M2.0 double-stack magazines.
It stretches to 30 ⅜ inches overall but folds down to just 16 ⅜ inches, making storage and transport a breeze. Unlike some other folding carbines, this one keeps a horizontal folding mechanism with a locking latch, so it won’t interfere with top-mounted optics or accessories.
Smith & Wesson also integrated a recoil buffer system for better control, along with a 9/16-24 threaded muzzle that allows shooters to attach their suppressor of choice. The in-stock magazine storage keeps reloads within reach.
The handguard includes an upper Picatinny rail and M-LOK® slots for adding accessories. The carbine also features a flat-face trigger with a crisp break and interchangeable palmswell grip inserts to fit different hand sizes. Smith & Wesson ships the FPC with a carrying bag that includes multiple storage compartments to keep gear organized.
For those in restricted states, Smith & Wesson offers a compliant version with three 10-round magazines while keeping all the same features.
