Burris has officially rolled out its all-new XTR PS riflescope—first previewed at the start of 2025—and it’s now hitting dealers across North America.
Designed for precision-driven shooters in competitive and tactical circles, the XTR PS blends rugged construction with cutting-edge electronics to deliver one of the most advanced optics Burris has ever released.
Smart Tech Meets Tactical Ruggedness
At the heart of the new scope is Burris’ proprietary PEK (Programmable Elevation Knob) system. Unlike traditional turrets, PEK is clickless and powered by a digital position sensor.
It offers 1/30 MIL adjustment accuracy—a serious step up from the standard 1/4 or 1/8 MOA and even 1/10 MIL adjustments found on most optics. Shooters can now dial in precise bullet drop compensation with speed and confidence, ideal for long-range accuracy and match performance.
The scope’s onboard HUD (Heads-Up Display) serves as a digital firing solution hub. With eight customizable data zones, it provides essential real-time info like:
- Dial-to-distance in MILs, yards, or meters
- Wind hold and wind direction
- Density altitude and angle compensation
- Battery meter and scope level
- Countdown timer for match stages
The dial-to-distance function simplifies long-range engagements by allowing shooters to match their elevation turret to the exact distance of the target—cutting out dope cards and reducing dialing errors under pressure.
App-Connected, Field-Ready
The XTR PS integrates seamlessly with the BurrisConnect ballistics app, allowing users to upload custom ballistic profiles directly to the scope.
Each profile includes 20+ density altitude curves for adapting to changing environments. And once profiles are stored on the scope, it functions independently of the app—crucial for field reliability.
Built for Combat or Competition
The riflescope is offered in two configurations:
- 3.3-18x50mm (Model 201220)
- 5.5-30x56mm (Model 201230)
Both feature a front focal plane SCR2-MIL illuminated reticle with dual-color (red/green) options, zero-click stop turrets, side focus parallax adjustment, and premium ED glass. The housing is machined from a single piece of 6061-T6 aluminum and built around a beefy 34mm main tube, ensuring durability in any condition.

Ergonomics were also front and center: the scope’s soft-touch button array, located outboard of the parallax knob, enables easy menu navigation—even in gloves.
