Lucansky Arms just showcased one of the coolest PDWs at NRA 2025—the Stinger 9. Built by the same designer behind the CZ Scorpion and Laugo Alien, this new subgun combines proven engineering with next-gen features in a compact, affordable platform.
Available in 8-inch and 4-inch barrel configurations, the Stinger 9 is chambered in 9mm and feeds from widely available CZ Scorpion mags. It ships with a rear Pic rail, ready for your preferred brace or stock (SBR if you’re going that route).
Controls are fully ambidextrous and offer dual magazine releases—AR-style and paddle—plus both a side-charging and AR-style rear charging handle. You can run either or remove one for more rail space. The bolt locks open and slaps shut, HK-style, and everything is low-profile and snag-free.
Suppressor lovers will appreciate the tri-lug and ½x28 threading up front. But the real secret sauce is Lucansky’s Delayed Matter Technology™—a tungsten-weighted delayed-blowback system that keeps recoil flat and smooth, especially when suppressed. It doesn’t slam into the rear of the receiver, so you feel less impulse and more control.
The trigger is based on an AR-15 design with subtle tweaks for the delayed system—and it’s surprisingly crisp for a PDW. The handguard features M-LOK slots at every angle, making it ready for lights, lasers, and any optic setup you want.
Best part? It’s not priced like a boutique MCX or imported roller-delayed clone. Lucansky plans to keep the Stinger 9 affordable while encouraging aftermarket support—even open-sourcing certain accessory specs.
If you want a modular, suppressed-ready, low-recoil subgun that won’t break the bank, keep your eyes on the Lucansky Arms Stinger 9.
