In a video titled “MASSIVE Public Land Sale in U.S. Senate!!!”, The Hunting Public’s Aaron Warbritton delivers a direct message to hunters, anglers, and anyone who uses public land: now is the time to act.

The video focuses on a proposal in the U.S. Senate that would authorize the sale of 3 million acres of federal public land. Warbritton clearly states that sportsmen should not ignore this.

He encourages people to email their U.S. senators, especially those on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, and provides links in the video description to make that easier. Warbritton also points to organizations such as Howl for Wildlife as being valuable sources for ways you can help make an impact.

The proposal is part of the “Big Beautiful Bill” that has been making its way through Congress. He explains that a similar provision to sell public land was previously included in a House bill but was pulled after opposition from the hunting and fishing community. Now, the same effort has resurfaced in the Senate, and Warbritton is calling on viewers to help shut it down again.

Put Your Party Bias Aside

Beyond the action items, Warbritton expresses frustration with the political gamesmanship that often distracts from the core issue.

“… all the political bickering that’s about to take place in the comments below this video. You guys will get down there and you’ll go to throwing stones at Democrats and you’ll go to throwing stones at Republicans. I’ve seen it a thousand times on social media.

“Put your swords away. Spend the time emailing your senators about this issue. That’s going to be way more productive than arguing with somebody on the internet about who they voted for months ago. I don’t care if you vote blue, white, red, green, or orange,” he says.

He also challenges the logic behind selling off public land to reduce the federal deficit, pointing out that unloading 3 million acres would barely scratch the surface of the national debt.

“Land is not like money. Land isn’t even like people. You can’t make more of it,” he says. “Once it’s gone, it’s gone.”

The message is clear. This isn’t about party lines. It’s about protecting access to wild places that belong to all Americans.
