The 2025 Ford Bronco is taking it easy. Ford will bring its popular Free Wheeling stripe package from the compact Bronco Sport to its burlier sibling, letting both models share in the late ’70s-inspired fun.

Ford’s original Free Wheeling package was a graphics kit from the heydeys of custom trucks and vans. The package added red, yellow, and orange sunset stripes to models like the Ford F-100 and F-150, the original Bronco, and the Econoline van — which, of course, wouldn’t be complete without a fishbowl window on the side.

In 2024, Ford brought the package back. It was only on the Bronco Sport and only in a few trim grades, but the look was eye-catching. The exterior stripes were joined by some small cosmetic upgrades on the inside and special wheels. And since it was the second-cheapest way to get into a new Bronco Sport, you got plenty of Free Wheeling for your dollar.

Ford Bronco ‘Free Wheeling’ Stripes

The 2025 Ford Bronco Free Wheeling edition is much of the same, starting with the gradient color stickers. They’re reflective on the big Bronco, which should add a cool effect at night. At least you’ll be able to see it, probably from space.

Ford added a silver grille with red highlights around the Bronco lettering inside it. The door handles in the photos are a matching silver.

Black gloss steel wheels are unique to the Free Wheeling package, which will only be offered on the Big Bend trim grade. It will also be an option with Ford’s off-road Sasquatch package, and if you pick that, you’ll receive a different set of multi-spoke wheels with a silver lip and red-painted pockets.

Interior

The cabin receives most of the same cosmetic treatments as the exterior. Seats are fabric mixed with marine-grade vinyl, and they have stripes to match the body of the truck.

And there will be plenty of red accents, with red paint in the Bronco lettering in the dash, on the tabs for the vents, and on the side-dash grab handles.

Granted, in the photos, the accent along the center grab handle looks a bit like someone circled it in Microsoft Paint.

If that’s not enough Free Wheeling for you, Ford will also sell matching merch, including T-shirts, hats, jackets, and vests. The merch is available now, and the 2025 Bronco Free Wheeling will be available in January 2025.
