One lucky winner will receive a torque-sensing e-bike from Ride1Up (a $1,295 value). The LMT’D V2 is a class 3 pedal-assist e-bike that tops out at 28 mph and has a throttle for quick acceleration. This redesign offers even more value for its price point.

More on the Prize

The Ride1UP LMT’D V2 e-bike has a torque sensor to create a smoother and more responsive ride based on the rider’s efforts. This leads to better battery efficiency and thus extends the bike’s range as well. The LMT’D V2 lists a range of 30-50 miles depending on rider weight, terrain, incline, level of assist, etc.

It’s powered by a 750W geared hub motor with 95mm torque, which gets it up to the class 3 limits of 28 mph. The 20mph throttle helps the e-bike start back up from a stop when typical e-bikes are most sluggish and prone to wobbling.

It also has an alloy frame with internal electronics, plus comfort-minded geometry. The WTB GROOV-E tires provide reliable traction on most surfaces, and the Tektro hydraulic brakes offer control. A Suntour 32 front fork offers 100mm of travel to reduce turbulence along the way.

Lastly, a patented slanted gear AKM motor runs quiet — perfect for this bike’s primary use case of exploring city streets and urban paths.

More on the Brand

Ride1Up prides itself on making value-minded e-bikes to make riding more approachable for a wider audience.

Since 2018, the company hasn’t skimped on quality, often using name-brand components and employing patented technology in its motors. That’s why it boasts, “Spec for spec, you won’t find a better value anywhere else.”
