Summer is on its way, and that means lightweight clothing, like running shorts, that are not advantageous to concealed carry. For this reason, many opt for off-body carry options. And companies like Elite Survival Systems provide excellent options like the Blindside concealed carry slingpack. The lightweight option offers an ambidextrous CCW compartment and adjustable internal holster that fits up to full-size pistols.

Featuring a 900D poly fabric construction, the Blindside is lightweight and durable. Available in black or dark heather green, the Blindside emulates the look and feel of an average, ordinary slingpack. As a result, you can maintain a grey man appearance and blend in without telegraphing that you are carrying.

The single strap design includes a wide padded strap and a vented foam back panel offering comfortable all-day carry. Additionally, the ambidextrous strap can be configured for right- or left-side carry, while the pass-through holster compartment allows right- or left-hand access. Correspondingly, the sling design allows the pack to be swung around the body for quick access to your pistol.

The roomy main compartment includes a divider and pouches for organization, while a lined eyewear pocket keeps your glasses safe. Dual vertical zippered pockets on the front provide instant access to the pack’s contents. In addition, a hanger and tube routing goes to the optional hydration reservoir.

Editor’s Note:

Although there is debate as to the legitimacy of off-body carry, there are times when it can be necessary. Specifically in the summer when lightweight clothing options may not allow standard on-body carry.

However, if you are going to carry off body you need to be especially vigilant. It doesn’t take long for a thief to snatch your pack and be gone. Likewise, never set your pack down and leave it unattended. The last thing you need is a criminal running around with your pistol.

The Elite Survival Systems Blindside concealed carry slingpack is available now, with an MSRP of $99.95. For more info, please visit EliteSurvival.com.
