Live from the floor at NRAAM 2025, we hit the SilencerCo booth—and they’ve got some seriously exciting new suppressors making noise (or rather, making a lot less noise).
First up, SilencerCo is bringing back one of their most iconic designs—the Osprey—but with a major upgrade.
The new Osprey keeps that unmistakable, offset shape everyone recognizes from the movies, but it’s substantially smaller and noticeably quieter than the original. That’s right—less volume, but better sound suppression, thanks to new internal tech.
It still features SilencerCo’s famous self-timing button, allowing you to easily rotate and lock the suppressor into perfect alignment on your host gun.
Expect this next-gen Osprey to hit the market by the end of the year. If you loved the original (and who didn’t?), the new one looks like an absolute must-have.
But that’s not all. SilencerCo also dropped the curtain on the Spectre 9K, and this thing is wild. It’s a tiny, featherweight suppressor that’s rated for 9mm and subsonic .300 Blackout.
Full-auto rated when shooting subs, the Spectre 9K is so short and light you almost have to see it to believe it.
We handled it ourselves—and trust us, it’s incredibly compact without feeling flimsy. For anyone looking for an ultra-lightweight, backpack-friendly suppressor that still delivers serious performance, the Spectre 9K is going to be hard to beat.
