With winter finally starting to show signs of fatigue, it’s time to up the fun a little!

This week’s roundup begins to nod to fairer weather and summertime fun. Whether you’re a runner, paddler, sailor, cyclist, or devil-may-care road warrior, we’ve got a fresh selection of the latest gear for you!

Slingshot 10

Hard to believe it’s already been a full decade since these three-tired, light-bedazzled boomboxes on wheels first hit the streets. Alas, 10 years it’s been, and Polaris is celebrating with the special edition Slingshot 10.

Built on the brand’s top-of-the-line R model, the Slingshot 10 has a distinctive two-tone visage and loads of features. The Anniversary Edition Slingshot 10 has an enhanced engine. It also has improved handling, more acceleration, and upgraded suspension.

Customers can choose between manual or “AutoDrive,” and enjoy heated and cooled seats, Stage 3 Max audio with boosted bass and automatic volume control, and customizable lighting options.

The Polaris Slingshot 10 starts at $38,999. Read our full rundown: Slingshot 10: Polaris Adds Flash to Celebrate a Decade of Three-Wheel Fun.

Timberland x nonnative Boot

And now for something totally different … In this collab with Tokyo-based boutique nonnative, the classic timberland gets a lil’ roughed up.

Dubbed “hairy suede” (kinky), this 6-inch boot remains fully waterproof thanks to a GORE-TEX membrane. Beyond that, these are the same 6-inch Timberlands made famous by Big Apple Lumbersexuals.

The Timberland x nonnative 6-inch Boots will launch for retail on Friday, Feb. 28, for $220.

Advanced Folding Kayak: TRAK 2.0

Folding kayaks are not a new concept, but when I asked Caleb McIntyre, TRAK Kayak’s “chief paddling officer,” what made this brand different, he was direct: “No other kayak or canoe offers this level of versatility. Period.”

TRAK hangs its hat as a seaworthy folding kayak. To that end, the TRAK 2.0 has an angular, hard chine design and V-shaped hull for improved tracking, and hydraulic jacks to allow paddlers to adjust their rocker as needed. The 16-foot TRAK 2.0 weighs 44 pounds and, according to the brand, sets up in 15 minutes.

While the $3,650 kayak may be advanced, the brand positions itself as a vessel for serious and recreational paddlers alike. Learn more at TRAK Kayaks.

4-in-1 EDC Flashlight: IMALENT GR35

Clip it, hang it, magnetize it, dunk it — and that’s just all the ways you can position the IMALENT GR35 EDC Flashlight. This multifunction torch has four distinct modes: flashlight, emergency red-and-blue klaxon, UV light, and red laser.

As a flashlight, the GR35 blasts up to 2,800 lumens with a throw up to 426 m (that’s more than a quarter-mile). What’s more, this light can charge within a carryable case and has passthrough power, so you can use it portably while it’s charging. Check out the IMALENT GR35 on Indiegogo now.

Speedy Style: K-Swiss x McLaren Sneakers

Whatever you do, don’t call the new K-Swiss x McLaren sneakers orange — that’s Papaya, the British luxury automaker’s trademark color.

Formula One fans and sports car enthusiasts alike will appreciate the AERO-Active II x McLaren line. Available in both men’s and women’s for $120, the fashion-forward sneaks sport three color schemes: white with black and papaya accents, grey with black and papaya, and (my personal favorite) papaya with black and white accents.

100% Recycled: GROUNDTRUTH ‘UNDA’ Dry Bags

You’ve heard of “two birds, one stone,” but how about “one plastic, two lives”? That’s the aim of GROUNDTRUTH’s UNDA dry bag line, made entirely from recycled materials and reclaimed ocean plastic.

Developed in collaboration with the world’s largest diving association, PADI, the UNDE line includes a 1L Cross Body Sling, 10L Cross Body Dry Bag, and 25L Roll-Top Dry Backpack. The bags are fully submersion waterproof (IPX6 and IPX7), Bluesign-certified for ethical manufacturing, and carbon-neutral, though you can opt to go fully carbon-negative at checkout.

Ultimate Wet Weather System: Canada Goose Sea Mantra

There’s rain gear, and then there’s serious rain gear. Canada Goose’s Sea Mantra Parka and Bibs falls squarely in the latter category. Six years in the making, according to the brand, the Sea Mantra kit was developed for an honest-to-goodness life at sea — maritimers, if you will.

The system is waterproof, windproof, and built to withstand downpours, sea spray, and gales in equal measure. Marine-grade reflective hits provide visibility from any direction, neoprene cuffs and headskirt add comfort and protection around hands and neck, and six pockets on both the interior and exterior — with extra-large, glove-friendly flaps — add function to Canada Goose’s trademark style.

A kit this stout won’t come cheap, though — the Sea Mantra Parka and Bibs launched this month for $2,795 and $2,250, respectively.

Recycled, No-Landfill Tracker: ROAM

Ditch all the fancy, expensive add-ons that actually let you use your AirTag. That’s part of the idea behind the ROAM Smart Tracker, an accessory-free portable location device.

A built-in elastic strap allows users to adhere to the ROAM Smart Tracker to bike frames, bags, keychains, and more. Plus, the tracker is made from recycled materials, is waterproof, and has a replaceable battery with a year-long lifespan. Best of all, ROAM says that owners will be able to exchange and upgrade their Smart Trackers to keep their devices from entering a landfill at the end of their useful life.

‘IncrediRUN’: Saucony Endorphin Elite 2

A super shoe built to tackle an underground relay race through “The Maze,” the Saucony Endorphin Elite 2 quite literally hits the ground running.

Unveiling today — and available globally on March 1 — the Endorphin Elite 2 represents an evolution of Saucony’s leading speed-focused running shoe. While an all-new “IncrediRUN” foam designed to boost both cushion and energy return marks the major tech innovation here, it’s the shoes’ coming-out party that steals the show.

To mark the debut, Saucony will host a relay race through and around Paris dubbed THE MAZE. Look for the Endorphin Elite 2 on Saucony’s website on March 1 for $275.

Convertible Kids’ Bikes: Prevelo Zulu One & Two

Balance when you need to, pedal when you want to — Prevelo debuts a patented BALANCE-TEC system that allows parents to swap between balance bike and pedal configurations. According to the brand, swapping between configurations takes minutes and only requires a key and a wrench.

The new tech graces a pair of lighter-weight updates to its kids’ aluminum mountain bike line, the Zulu One and Two. The 14-inch One and 16-inch Two shave 15% off the total weight over previous iterations, thanks to a smaller rear cog and front chainring. The One ($599) suits 3-5-year-olds, while the Two ($649) accommodates 4-6-year-olds. Conversion kits retail as an add-on for $19.
