At SHOT Show 2025, Glock and Aimpoint announced a limited-edition collaboration: the Glock x Aimpoint COA combo, featuring the new Aimpoint COA red dot optic mounted on select Glock 9mm pistols.

This setup is aimed at concealed carry users, combining Glock’s trusted pistol platform with Aimpoint’s reputation for durability and performance.

What Is the COA?

The Aimpoint COA optic is specifically designed for concealed carry. Its A-CUT™ interface mounts the optic lower into the slide compared to traditional setups, offering better durability and a lower profile.

Here’s what it brings to the table:

  • Co-witness capability: The low mount allows the red dot to align with factory iron sights, eliminating the need for suppressor-height sights.
  • Compact design: Despite a wide viewing window, the optic stays slim for practical carry.
  • Ease of use: The design focuses on simplicity and quick target acquisition, especially for new red dot users.

Available Glock Models

The package is available on the following Glock 9mm pistols:

  • G43X
  • G48
  • G19 Gen5
  • G45
  • G47

Performance and Practicality

On the range, the COA’s low-profile design makes it easier to find the dot quickly. It also works well with Glock’s factory sights for backup aiming.

The optic’s fully enclosed housing adds durability, while the 50,000-hour battery life ensures reliable operation without constant maintenance.

Key Details

  • Limited availability: The Glock x Aimpoint COA package launches on January 20, 2025, and will only be available in limited quantities.
  • Exclusivity: The Aimpoint COA optic is only available as part of this package and cannot be purchased separately.

Final Thoughts

The Glock x Aimpoint COA combo offers a practical solution for concealed carry users who want an integrated optic system right out of the box. However, the limited availability and lack of standalone purchase options may frustrate some shooters.

What do you think about this collaboration? Is it a must-have for Glock fanboys? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
