SK Customs just dropped the second release in its “Conquerors Series”—a bold tribute to Spanish conquistador Hernán Cortés.
The new limited-edition pistol is a Colt 1911 Classic chambered in .38 Super. Only 200 units will be produced. Each features a royal blue finish with 24k gold accents and historical engravings.
Cortés is best known for leading the 1519 Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire. While the campaign turned violent, early encounters included diplomacy and cultural exchange. Cortés used interpreters like La Malinche to navigate political tensions and build early alliances.
These moments of understanding helped shape early contact between two worlds, noted SK Customs.
The left slide shows Cortés entering Tenochtitlán with battle scenes and a shaded Gulf of Mexico backdrop. The right slide captures his fleet arriving on Aztec shores. The forward top of the slide holds his portrait, while the rear displays his coat of arms.
Grips feature engraved historic weapons and Cortés on horseback. A floral scroll ties the whole piece together.
This marks the second release in the Conquerors Series. SK Guns plans more commemorative pistols honoring complex figures in world history.
SK Customs priced the Cortés 1911 at $2,850. Shipments begin August 2025.
